Ullapool and Inverpolly illustrated

Some pictures taken on last weekends jaunt up to Ullapool. We didn't hit any big hills whilst we there (although I believe some have now been climbed in our absence) as the weather was a bit pish after we arrived. It was very nice and relaxing though to have a change of scenery and some nice company for a few days.

  3. Cheers Jamie, we didn't want to leave. Can't wait till the next time we're in that area. So much to do and explore.

That's ok Scott, we're both jealous of your dugs! and your Inverary trip looked good fun and interesting. Was that really Para Handy's Vital Spark?

  4. I think the story is that it was one of the last ever "Clyde Puffers" built, so it was given The Vital Spark name as a sort of tribute.

There is - or certainly used to be - a boat with a competing claim to the name at Crinan harbour. I know that because we've got a photie of it in our bathroom.

  6. Um....yup! I must admit I am hugely looking forward to the snow this year...both on road and on the hills.
